Overview

Find Your Supplement is operated by Insquire LLC ("we", "us", "our"), which is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website (findyoursupplement.com) and mobile application.

Information We Collect

Account Information (Mobile App)

The mobile app requires an account. You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an email address and password. Depending on the method you choose, we receive your email address, a unique identifier from Apple or Google, and, if you allow it, your name. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email" option, we receive only Apple's private relay address. Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth on our behalf; passwords are stored only as salted hashes and are never visible to us.

Quiz Profile and Health Data (Mobile App)

When you complete the quiz in the app, your answers (age, sex, health goals, diet type, lifestyle factors, medications, and symptoms) and any blood work values or genetic variant data you enter are saved to your account on our servers so that your plan follows you between devices and reinstalls. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and database access rules ensure that only your signed-in account can read or change it. We do not review individual profiles except when you ask us for support, and you can delete everything at any time (see "Deleting Your Account" below). A copy is also kept on your device so the app works offline.

Quiz Data (Website)

When you take the quiz on our website, your answers are sent to our recommendation service only to compute your results and are not stored there. Your answers are kept in your browser's session storage and are deleted when you close the tab. No account is needed to use the website quiz.

AI-Assisted Features

If you use the PDF lab report upload or DNA file parsing features in the mobile app, the minimum necessary data is sent to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI does not use this data to train their models (per their API data usage policy). No health data is stored on OpenAI's servers beyond the processing window.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage access to Pro features; RevenueCat receives the store's purchase receipt and, once you are signed in, your account identifier so that a purchase is restored on any device where you sign in. We never see your payment card details.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (website) and Firebase Analytics (mobile app) to collect usage data such as screen views, quiz completion rates, and button taps. Events may include high-level quiz categories (the goals and diet type you selected) and which supplements you viewed, but never your lab values, genetic data, symptoms, medications, or account details. You can turn off analytics in the app's Settings, or on the website by using a browser extension like Google Analytics Opt-out.

Email

When you create an account in the mobile app, the sign-in screen shows an "Email me supplement tips and updates" box. Where the law allows it (for example the United States) the box is ticked by default and we add your email address to our newsletter (supplement tips and product updates, sent via ConvertKit) unless you untick it. In regions that require opt-in consent (the EU and EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada and Australia) the box starts unticked and we add you only if you tick it. If you voluntarily provide your email address on the website (e.g., to receive your supplement plan or a lead magnet), we store it in ConvertKit the same way. The choice you make with that box is stored on your account so that we act on it once and can honour it across your devices. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Account emails from the app (confirmation and password reset) are separate: they are sent by our authentication provider, are not marketing messages, and are always sent regardless of your newsletter choice.

How We Use Your Information

• To keep your plan, lab results, and genetic data in sync across your devices
• To restore your purchases and unlock Pro features you have paid for
• To improve our recommendation algorithm and app experience
• To send you your supplement plan and newsletter content, according to the choice you made with the newsletter box when creating an app account or by opting in on the website
• To understand aggregate usage patterns (via analytics)

What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• We do not share your health data with advertisers
• We do not use your health data for advertising or profiling beyond your own recommendations
• We do not require an account to use the website quiz
• We do not track you across other websites

Service Providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run the service: Supabase (authentication, database, and the recommendation service), Apple and Google (sign-in and app stores), RevenueCat (purchase validation), OpenAI (optional AI parsing), Google Analytics and Firebase (analytics), and ConvertKit (email). Each processes data only as needed to provide its service to us.

Affiliate Links

Our website and app contain Amazon affiliate links (Amazon Associates store mammuthus-20). When you click these links and make a purchase, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon may collect data about your purchase according to their own privacy policy.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from the app: open Settings, choose Delete Account, and confirm. This permanently removes your account, your quiz profile, and any lab or genetic data stored with it, and revokes the Sign in with Apple or Google authorization. Deletion cannot be undone. If you cannot access the app, email us at the address below from the email on your account and we will delete it for you. Purchase records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat are retained as required for accounting and refunds. Step-by-step instructions are on our account deletion page.

Data Retention

Account and profile data: retained until you delete your account. Website quiz data: deleted when you close your browser tab. Email addresses (newsletter): retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data: retained by Google for up to 14 months.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
